A leading company in the Pensions and Investments area have an open opportunity now for an experienced Sales Support Consultant with specific experience of the Group Risk sector.The RoleWorking in an already established team, you will be responsible for supporting the sales and new business growth. Reporting in to the Sales Support Manager you will be responsible for;*Providing the sales team, distributors and customers with accurate and effective administrative, sales and organisational support. *Managing the follow up of quotations and installation of new Group Risk schemes. Follow up on quotations and negotiate with pricing to secure and retain business on profitable terms.*Work with the Account Managers to grow the volume and quality of new business enquiries, negotiating with the distributors and scheme underwriters on cases. *Attend meetings with key distributors and customers, to provide help with winning schemes, installation, renewals etc*Identify and pursue sales opportunities from both reactive and proactive distributor and customer contact, treating our customers fairly at all times.*Support and provide input to the construction, implementation and review of Account Business Plans*Develop an effective partnership with the Account Managers to ensure that a quality service is provided to all Intermediaries and customersThe PersonYou must be an outgoing person to be effective in this Sales Support Consultant position with a pro-active manner and a passion for driving business forward through various means.The BenefitsIn addition to a fantastic basic salary of up to £30,000 there is a fantastic benefits package available.
